$11 billion Sydney Metro - Transport for NSW
Construction on Stage 1: the Northwest line from Rouse hill to Chatswood is already under construction with Stage 2 scheduled to start around 2017.
$6 billion Barangaroo Towers at Darling Harbour - Lend Lease
Under development.
3.4 billion International Convention Centre - Infrastructure NSW & Lend Lease
Projected construction completion date is set for 2016. The facility is scheduled to open to the public in December 2016.
$2.1 billion CBD & South East Light Rail Network - Transport for NSW
Construction has only just begun. Bus routes have been changed. Construction is expected to last 9 months. The light rail should be completely operational by 2018.
$2 billion Central Park on Broadway - Sekisui Frasers Property
More construction of apartment buildings and a hotel is planned.
$2 billion Crown Towers Barangaroo - Crown Ltd & Lend Lease
Construction is expected to begin in 2016. Crown Towers is set to open in 2019.
$1 billion University of Technology Sydney Development - Richard Crookes Constructions & Lend Lease
Currently under construction. Expected to be complete by 2018
$709 million “The Haymarket” between Chinatown & Darling Harbour- Lend Lease
The project is forecast to be completed in the early 2020’s.
$660 million Quay Quarter Sydney Precinct in Circular Quay - AMP Capital
Stage 2 construction should start in 2017 and is expected to take around 2 and a half years to finish.
$500 million Greenland Centre, Sydney’s Tallest Apartment Tower - Greenland & Brookfield
Construction is underway with the hotel estimated to open in 2016, and the residential tower opening its doors not long after in 2017.
